SAT WORM
A fast, snake-style arcade game built for SatsEarn. Eat the bolts, dodge the hazards, and grow as long as you can — the deeper you go, the more it fights back.

Grow long, survive longer
SAT-WORM starts slow and empty. You spawn as a 3-segment worm on a clean 24×24 grid. Your only goal is to seek out the flashing orange sat food.
Every bolt you consume adds one segment to your tail. The score rises by 10 points. For the first nine feeds, the board is yours to explore. Use this window to map your space before the system activates the defense grids.
Eat ⚡ Sat food. Grow your worm. Dodge the bombs, fake food, and wall block structures. Reach a score of 100 to lock in your 5 XP reward, or push all the way to 1,000 points to claim maximum bragging rights.
What's on the board
Six things share the grid with you. Hazards aren't there from the start — they unlock as you eat more food.
Sat Food
The bolt you're chasing. Eat it to score and grow. It carries a countdown ring — if the ring empties before you reach it, the food teleports to a new spot.
+10 pointsFake Food
A decoy that looks edible. Marked by a purple dashed ring and a mushroom icon. Touching it is instant death — real food is always orange.
Unlocks at food #25Bomb
A static obstacle that sits on the grid. Run into it and the run is over. Only one can be active at a time.
Unlocks at food #10Timed Bomb
Counts down and detonates after 6 seconds. It blinks red as it nears explosion and can kill you on an adjacent tile, not just a direct hit.
Unlocks at food #15Wall Block
A solid barrier formation. Starts as a single tile and grows to 2, then 3 connected tiles deeper into a run. Only one formation exists at a time.
Unlocks at food #20Your Own Tail
As you grow, you become your own biggest hazard. Double back into any segment of your body and you die instantly.
Always activeRead the board, plan the route
The worm's head glows brightest and carries the direction it's travelling. Behind it, the body fades from bright orange to deep amber so you can always trace your tail.
The sat food pulses with a countdown ring that drains clockwise — orange means you have time, yellow means hurry, and red means it's about to teleport. Good players don't chase; they cut the food off.

How the threat escalates
SAT WORM eases you in, then unlocks hazards in stages tied to how many bolts you've eaten. Speed steps up at the same milestones.
A slow start with no hazards at all. Use this window to learn the controls and build some length and room to manoeuvre.
The first static bomb unlocks. From here, speed steps up as you cross major food milestones rather than after every bite.
Timed bombs join the board. They detonate after 6 seconds and can catch you on an adjacent tile — move clear the moment they blink red.
Walls unlock as a single-tile formation. Only one formation exists at once, but it reshapes the safe space you have to work with.
Fake food unlocks — a purple-ringed decoy that kills on contact. Now every bolt you approach needs a second look.
Walls grow to 2 tiles at 30+ and 3 tiles at 40+. From 50+, every unlocked hazard can reappear at random, one active instance per type. This is the deep end.
Points, XP & sats
Every bolt is 10 points. Right now SAT WORM rewards XP for all players. Sat rewards are on the way for paid tiers — the planned milestone ladder is shown below.
Compete & keep streaks
SAT WORM has a streak and leaderboard panel built in. When connected to your SatsEarn dashboard, these track your runs against everyone else.
Daily Streaks
Play every day to build a streak. The Top Streaks board shows the longest active runs, and your own streak appears in the panel header.
Weekly Leaderboard
Compete for the top weekly score. If you're outside the top five, the panel still shows your exact rank so you know how far you have to climb.
All-Time Leaderboard
An all-time board ranking total scores. Switch tabs in the in-game panel to see where you stand across every run you've played.

How to play
Play it however suits your device — full keyboard, swipe, or the on-screen D-pad on mobile.

Survive longer, score more
A handful of habits separate a short run from a deep one.
Build room early. The first nine bolts have no hazards — use them to grow and learn the speed before anything dangerous spawns.
Watch the food ring. The arc drains clockwise. Orange is safe, yellow means hurry, red means it's about to teleport — commit to your route before it resets.
Real food is always orange. Once fake food unlocks at #25, check the ring: a purple dashed ring and a mushroom means instant death. Steer away.
Timed bombs kill at range. When one blinks red it can take you out on an adjacent tile, not just a direct hit. Clear the area early.
Mind the growing walls. Walls get bigger past food 30 and 40. Keep a mental map of the open lanes so a new formation doesn't trap you.
Use the revive wisely. After a crash you may get one continue (it costs points). Bank it for a deep run rather than an early stumble.
About game rewards
SAT WORM rewards XP for everyone today. Sat rewards from games are a planned paid-tier feature and are currently switched off in the game — once live, any sats credited will follow the platform's standard verification and 15-day maturity process before they're available to withdraw.
Scores, streaks, and rewards are validated server-side when you're signed in. Runs are checked for fair play, and only genuine sessions count toward your totals and the leaderboard.
